Used set of Campagnolo Chorus 8 Speed wheels (tubular)
Bought last year second hand but have NEVER used these since!
A few years old but great condition! Built onto Wolber profil 20 rims with DT spokes (12-21 cass).
Brand new set of vittoria pista CS tyres, and i mean brand new!
Have a single speed conversion on at the moment, which im including which cost £15. Comes with both the original quick releases and also the black one you see in the photo.
Tyres cost me £35 each, rim tape £10, and then fitting of the tyres cost £20. Thats £115 alone not including the wheels! (i have receipts for tyres and conversion if the buyer wants?).
Wheels are superbly light, even with tyres on! Il hopefully weigh them and post up the weight, however il say now that my scales are not the best, however these are awesomely light without doubt!
Up for £200. Collection in angel or E1.
PRICE DROP.. 140

pains me to here of everyone having their bike stolen, had my pinched last year so know how it feels! on a seperate note i think it would be useful if people would also post up what lock they had on, where abouts it was locked (ie for those who dont know the area stating whether it was on a main street etc)
how you locked it etc etc, i think the more information people can add might help others prevent this!
Il start, mine was stolen in angel, outside the virgin active, infront of a CCTV camera main road during the road. Cable lock (was stupid i know)
however virgin active said that there CCTV is rubbish and of very very poor quality, hence avoid this spot!

If you Google their contact address it's actually a third party e-commerce company called DMS who handle their and lots of other company's "logistics'.
VS looks like it's just a e-commerce storefront with none of their own stock held at all or dedicated staff.
*edit*** confirmed in the blurb, VS use DMS's "just in time" stock handling service aka "we hold no stock**"
makes sense!

hey eyebrows, thanks for your help you were tright they do fit! bit snug but jobs a good un! there was me thinking i had to buy a whole new wheelset! (which considering these campag ones are just fine i didnt want to do!)
iv know got the sprockets off so just on the hunt for campag single conversion.... do any exist?
-
i get 122mm inner to inner, or 135 outer to outer?
looks like someone has already bent it slightly!
im going single freewheel so will just drop a chain tensioner on there.
so the question still remains, can i use the exisiting wheelset thats in the top photos? (provided i can get that spacer off) and can i either just leave that sprocket on the rear, or just a single sprocket with spacers?
-
hey yoav thanks for the quick reply!
it is steel so looks like il drop it down to my lbs to get that sucker opened up!
provided i can get that spacer off, and the frame to fit, am i right in thinking i can just remove my sprockets off and just drop a single on?
and then put spacers on the hub to straighten up the chainline?
-
hey guys, got a track frame with 120mm dropouts,
neither of my wheels fit (pics below). my first wheelset the hub looks about 140mm, and the other around 135
what are my options for getting something that will fit? ie new hub or new wheelset?
also about to order a crankset + BB, can i order them both without any issues or should i wait till iv got my wheels sorted first?

photos up, only two items to point out are the one on the inside of the chainstay, right near drop outs, basically its a slight blemish of the lacquer, you can tell its under the lacquer and therefore not a result of damage!
same again on down tube, once again problems with the lacquer by the feels of things.
