Up for sale is my Surly cross check frame.
The frame measures 60cm from bottom bracket to top of the seatpost. Purchased for £350 a few months ago from ebay, but never got around to finishing the build!
Put a set of wheels on to make sure they fit (hence the marks around the dropouts) however the frame is new, as you can tell by the photos (in particular the bottom bracket!).
I removed a couple of the stickers, and for those wondering replacements can be purchased if you like them , or if not they are all removable....
Included in the same is the cane creek headset (although missing a top nut) which i recently purchased for £25, the seatclamp, a set of dawes bars (not new but also bought for £25) and also a set of shimano 105 brake levers. Although the levers are well worn theyre still working perfect.
I've spent over £400 on these parts. Looking for £270. As the frame alone still sells for £350 (both on ebay and online) this set is a bargain!
Colour is amazing, couldnt quite capture it in the photos but very similar to the bianchi colour. With having horizontal dropouts i was hoping to run single but never got anywhere close to finishing the build!

aluminum used in costructing rims is silver colored. So it is going to be colored by painting it or anodizing. Both of these wear off in use with brakes. Ride brakeless, go carbon or put a disc brake on the bike.

i was fearing this might have been the case:(
to go fixed would mean a new frame as i havnt got horizontal dropouts.... and to go carbon means me constantly worrying about them getting stolen :(
just cant win!

hey guys tried searching on here, and through the google site search (for here and anything else) and couldnt find anything!
after as stealth as possible wheelset, after nothing too expensive as its just for my commuter (that gets left outside, so id like to come back to them).
wanting completely matte black wheelset, currently have a set of the cheap no logo ones which are perfect, except that the black braking surface is already starting to rub off and therfore no long black :(
any ideas?
was thinking H+ but do they have any in freewheel ?

Campagnolo Chorus Wheelset - Wolber Profil rims - DT spokes - £200
Up for sale is my campag chorus wheels, i bought these sometime last year and have NEVER used them since! There are in great condition, and the cass has plenty of life left!
I recently bought two brand new vittoria pista tyres (£35 each), brand new rim tape and had them fitted (£25). I was going to have them temporarily on my single speed road bike so bought a single speed campag conversion (£15) fitted it but ended up getting another wheelset... hence these are surplus to my needs!
The wheels are on wolber profile rims, with DT spokes. The cass as photoed is in great condition with loads more life. These also come with 3 quick release skewers, the two campag ones plus an extra black one!
Iv spent over £100 on the others bits alone, hence 200 is a bargain for a set of campagnolo chorus wheels completely ready to go!
