Hovering over the Ultegra rear mech but still keep looking at the BURD.... 1st world issues..

Anyone have any experience with the BURD? Can I run a rear SRAM mech on DA shifters?

Can you use MTB rear mechs with road shifters?

Just currently building a CX bike up, and was wondering what the best rear mech would be to go with DA shifters.. Ultegra good to use with just one ring up front? Or should I look into the Gevenalle BURD?

Would a 50 TA ring be of any use?

KCNC SC Pro Lite - 9500 27.2x350 seatpost, very light around 165g on my scales, has marking at the bottom of the post from inserting into the frame, overall great condition, single bolt and set back. £SOLD

Shimano XT Bottom Bracket, Fitted and then taken off, missing the plastic centre part, has the spacers £10

Picked up a nice Glider Boxercross frame from here, thanks Martin, having a few bits already and then as ever changing my mind during the build.

So I have the following.

Frame and forks with headset
Wheel set
Brakes
Stem

Now it came with handlebars and seat post but now changing my mind with them and also the mini groupset..

XT wheel set, with valves, used for under a year, purchased for a project but now going CX so no longer needed.

So a kick up my butt and I have ordered all the parts bearing the bottom bracket, need to see what the driveline will be, plus having a little trouble trying to get the old BB shells to thread again... Is this normal after the bike has been stripped?

Chain, Brakes and Crankset have arrived today, just waiting on the brake lever to come.

Wheels came last week and just chuckked on some spare tyres I had just so I could freewheel down the drive and check the seat height.

Hoping to have it all done by end of next week.

After cable disc calipers for another bike BB7 or Shimano would be great, must be a pair.

Also after some pedals, MKS with toe ends (leather also) would be great.

@606 pedals still around? Any closer pics?
