I had the speed 2, one of my favourite shoes. Picked up the speed 4 awhile ago. Haven’t done a huge amount of mileage in it but nowhere near as good as the 2 in my opinion. The grip in the wet is still shite, there’s a lot more material in the upper, I need to really cinch the laces to get a proper lock down. It’ll do the job but not a shoe I look forward to running in

On the concussion debate.
They've made a special mouthguard in rugby which gives real time info of a head impact. They can analyse that data in real time and take a player off the pitch if the impact is deemed high enough.
I wonder could they do something similar in cycling with the sensor in the helmet?
I did read the mouth is more effective but there could be a tech solution here. More info on it in case anyone is interested https://shows.acast.com/realscienceofsport/episodes/rugbys-new-high-tech-mouthguards-how-they-work-and-why

Interesting seeing as we were just talking about pricey London coffee, this is a whole other (ridiculous) level.

Just witnessed a rat eating from one of the bird feeders in the garden, have photographic evidence but didn't post as I know not everyone wants to see that. I'm hoping it came from the building site at the end of the road and f*ked back off there after I emptied and removed the feeders.
The feeder was hanging from the roof of the bike shed. Should I be cutting down these shasta daisies? My worry is if there's more the daises would be good coverage for them.
Obviously I want to do whatever is in my power to stop them getting into the house.

I think there’s an option for both. Basically I give you a code that allows you to buy my bib straight from them. There’s no way for me to just send it directly to you
