no name frame - you can call it what you want. -

Here is a nice no name racing frameset. No badge, no stickers, no info on the tubing. Bocama lugs and Shimano dropouts. Must be from early 80s - the BB (BSA) included has code of 1981 production. The headset is 600 EX arabesque.
Seat tube is 52,5 cm (c-t), 50,5 (c-c). Top tube 53,5cm (c-c).
Paintwork with some scratches and spots of rust. See close-up images.
The F&F are straight, no dings, dents etc.
One issue I had no time to deal with - the stem is stuck. Hope its' height and lenght (80mm 3 TTT) would be OK for the buyer.
Looking for GBP 80 + 25 postage payed Paypal gift. -

Seat tube 60 c-t, top tube 57,5-58 c-c, Shimano 600 group
It's a nice machine (of probably 1986), really light-weight steel although the tubing and the maker of the frame are still unknown to me.
Everything works fine but I can't keep this one because of lack of space. Some old images, shot as it was when I bought it:

I've got a nice steel frameset for sale - an Italian one made for a German brand Albuch KOTTER (I guess it's a 1990 Pfiff).
seattube: 48 cm c-c
toptube: 52 cmOria tubing, Gipiemme dropouts, matt finish in black and (once) fluoroscent yellow. Some scratches visible and spots of rust on the forks,
but generally the frame is in very good condition.

thanks for your interest, but i am offering the frameset only.
i'd rather keep the saddle and the Super Mighty chainset. the wheels are old and need servicing (would keep them as a spare set) and the tyres are pretty worn out.
i doubt if it makes sense posting it to UK.
please PM if you want to discuss it. or make an offer. -

This deal came up like getting a 1999 M6 TTL for £750, however it has a paint default on the top plate. I already have a few M lenses, but the main idea is to use my old 40mm Summicron from the 70's, to have one of the smallest M combos available.
I though about the self devving, but I will probably have to take a course beforehand. The idea of being in full control of the final result sure is appealing !
Vandal's right - DIY, it's easy. you don't need to take a course.
Rodinal and TriX is a perfect combination imo.
Leica deserves it and you will love it. -
