The Family Business is such a big shop since it expanded into next door, it's kind of crazy how many really good artists work there.

Is there anywhere in London that sells selvage jeans in denim that's got an almost hairy texture? In the past I remember reading about some Japanese brands that made jeans like this, then yesterday I saw a pair and the denim looked pretty awesome - didn't think to ask the owner, we were both getting tattooed at the time.

Best bet is to ring the shop and ask. She used to post them on her twitter feed and they'd be pretty short notice, but I haven't seen so many recently, but then I also haven't really been looking out for them.

I'm getting a gorilla fighting a snake on the back of my calf from Valerie - April 9th, so not long to wait now. I've been tattooed by her a couple of times already which seems to allow me to get in pretty quickly.

I just checked with The Family Business, I was meant to be in the last batch of people who got called so I'm in the next which will apparently be a couple of weeks. Put my name down the end of April 2011, so yeah, pretty much a 2 year wait...

And yup, a red book.

Planning to pop in next week to see where I actually am on the list at this point, getting tattooed by Varlerie again next month and figure I must be in with Xam fairly soon so want to get my budgeting for this year sorted.

Don't really like the styling of the S3/4, which is a shame as I thought the S2 was a really good phone. Perfectly happy with my N4.

No idea how easy it is to get tattooed by him these day but Xed Le Head at Devine Canvas is one of the best in the world for that kind of stuff. Tomas Tomas' work is awesome too.

Kind of serious about the tribal thing, seen Mario Desa and Frank Carter both posting tribal flash (actually thought Desa's traditional/tribal mash ups lookex kind of cool) and I've seen a bunch posted on instagram recently.

As for knee cap tattoos... I had mine done last summer, I found it pretty unpleasant, not exactly excruciating but a weird sensation - perhaps getting it hand poked will be more forgiving.

I like AirDroid as a way to move files from computer to Android devices over a WiFi network.

It does matching with the Play Music store now doesn't it? So it shouldn't take as long uploading your collection.

Yeah, I use Google Music all the time on my tablet, phone and at work.

On my two portable devices I load stuff up over WiFi then just use that as I don't have unlimited data. At work it works great through the browser. Only complaint is the lack of ability to upload tracks from my phone or tablet - I find I do much more of my browsing on the tablet these days and it would be useful to upload tracks from there than having to fire up the computer.

Once my commitment is up in a month or two I'm switching to this:
