Now it looks absolutely beautiful, i've always been a fan of retro look, however correct me if i am wrong but the price seems a bit steep for what it is? I will have to sell my current fixie to fund this, and i simply would not want to if it means downgrading, what do you reckon?

Picked up a tektro front brake and some straps for my current pedals, my front wheel is missing a spoke and buckles about 20mm out where the missing spoke is, will this affect the brake?

Falling over because you can't get your foot out of a strap (unlikely to ever happen unless you're really drunk) is going to be a lot less painful than falling over because you hit a car / lorry when you can't brake properly...
