I'm offering a Mavic wheelset which originally came with the displayed CM.
Overall condition is very good, bearings still run smooth, no real scratches or bend spokes whatsoever, brake surface in good condition. As usual the rear had to suffer a bit more than the front, however it's still in very good nick.
Comes with cassette and tyres. Hubs are only named Normandy P 51 76, no further info available.
Wheelset is located in the Netherlands, postage will be around 20 - 25 pounds for the lot towards the UK.
I'm looking for 65 pounds including shipping.
Take a look at the pictures and see if you like it.
Will keep everybody updated when possible according to dibs/PM's etc.

Varno,
Could you help me out with the following; I'm looking for an all silver wheelset for my '75 Gazelle CM. 40 front and rear as well as a 30 front (machined) and 40 rear would do for me. I've visited your website however, I did not find anything on it that tells me you also ship abroad? Only possible option is the UK as far as I can see. I'm from the Netherlands and I would like to order if possible. Do have any nice options for me?
Is the price mentioned in post # 1176 for an entire wheelset or is the price per wheel?

Currently working on a '75-'77 Gazelle Champion Mondial with Campa dropouts. My dad bought the frame a good 35 years ago and has used it untill one year ago when I gave him a new bike for his birthday.
I was lucky enough to receive the bike as a 'thank you' for his present. To be honest I was thinking about selling it because I'm more of a downhill mountainbiker however I thought it would be nice to keep it within the family. I've polished the frame and I've been browsing the internet for some nice parts.
I came across Varno's topic for the wheels so I'm thinking of ordering a nice full silver set of wheels for the classic look. Plan is to run a 30mm at the front a 40mm at the rear. This combined with a Brooks saddle and bartape will turn out great. At least, that's what I hope.... Displayed wheelset is an old wheelset which I'm not going to use.
Hope you like it, included some pics as well.
PS; Gazelle logo on the front will return asap on the frame.
I've orderd
Renewed the bearings and the grease of the front wheel today, no play whatsoever!
