Riding into the village where i live, from the village where i'm employed --thereby transferring the lack from the former to the latter-- there were no cars parked on the right hand side of the carriageway and i didn't have to speed up, slow down or pull over to allow drivers heading in either direction to keep their feet down. On other days i can't help noticing that said parked cars are outside properties with ample off-street parking available...

They'd be a bit big on me, if @Rusty_Nail were to sell them on to me, but I am prepared to have the waistband taken in. Still provisional second dibs.
-
@hugo7 If @Rusty_Nail tries them and doesn't get on with them then I might be interested in them third hand.

Fuck the system.
Twofold! I've just realised that their inventory will also show one fewer 135° pipe than exists on their shelf. A total headfuck for the store manager and a severe dressing down for all the staff (sorry 'bout that). Another fine mess.
Must give the shop credit for having reversed its layout - relegated most of the cager stuff to the small mezzanine and pretty much filled the ground floor with byke stuff.

Bought guide pipes for my v-brakes and it's a 3 for 2 weekend and I didn't know whether I needed 90° or 135° pipes, so I bought the last 90° one they had plus two 135° ones. As she rang one of the pipes up three times, the pip on the checkout said, "they're all the same?" My mumbled answer was, "yeah, pretty much." So now their inventory will show a 90° pipe in stock when there's no such thing on the shelf. Accidental bazinga.
