Some help please - please excuse the naiveity of this question.
On the pictures below (the cream frame) I have a question about the brake mounting. These are the best pictures I can find at the moment - unfortunately I am out of the country so clearer pictures will be hard to come by.
Essentially there is a threaded bolt brazed onto the frame (both front and rear) and then universal cx brakes slot onto this and are held in place by a threaded nut. Unfortunately there are several bits and pieces missing from the brakes (bolts and springs). I was hoping to either replace the brakes for something of a similar vintage or something else altogether. However I am not sure quite what I am looking for as my research for universal cx brakes shows them with the threaded bolt attached to them (rather than mounting to it on the frame).
I hope this makes some sort of sense. Several months working in Vietnam sans any bike has me dreaming of my return to the UK in February ready to get on with a few projects... You help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
