I used to do a 14 mile circular out towards hethersett several times a week, fixed.
this route http://app.strava.com/activities/26290088
Would be up for it tomorrow morning if anyone fancies it? Meet at UEA sportspark at like 10 or something?Sounds good but too late for me
^ hmm, balls. Just noticed that profile might not be visible unless you have a strava account.
S'alright, I was gonna sign up anyway (erm, it's free right?).

I answer to your main question I havent been riding early mornings, no. Partially can't be fucked to get out of bed before 6 and when we do get up around 6:30 its full on getting kids ready for school, so not much chance really.
Cool, glad I'm not the only one - although I have less of a decent excuse not having kids.
Dodgy country lanes aside, do you have any recommendations for routes elsewhere? Doesn't have to be in the Sprowston/Wroxham area. I need a change of scenery.

So, anyone doing any regular early morning rides at the moment, or is everyone like me and just can't be fucked to get out of bed while it's "darker'n a black steer's tuchus on a moonless prairie night" outside?
I need some inspiration for some new routes - maybe a 12 miler or something. My current route goes round the Wroxham area but I just hate having to pedal up Wroxham road, and I often come down Salhouse Rd too which is also a bit of a bitch.
Anyone got any suggestions for some new circulars outside of Norwich that they're doing on a regular basis?

auchuentoshan is sweeter and Highland park peatier. If they smoke/like strong flavours go with the highland park, otherwise auchentoshan is a decent choice. But really, any highland malt (starting with glen) is a good choice for beginners. Steer clear of the massive islays for a bit, like laphroiag and bowmore. Unless it's 4am, then it's the best choice.
Cool cheers. I'll definitely look out for a glen. Maybe even just a Glenfiddich 12 which is what got me on to whisky. And they do them in 35cl bottles too #tightarsefriend

After boring a friend over the weekend about how awesome whisky is, I now feel like I need to buy them a bottle as an early Xmas present.
Can anybody recommend a bottle of supermarket available single malt that is good for beginners? Perhaps a good all rounder for someone who's more used to drinking bourbon with a mixer. -

Really loving this! Love the acid break developing in the background.

Hi,
I'm after a Super Record Strada crankset (70s era - fluted - 170mm) please. Chainring(s) isn't/aren't essential but no problem if included. I'd also go for a same era pista crankset if you have one (although would prefer the strada as it is a bit shorter).
Basically like this one http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=835418D8-07C5-4BFF-B006-54EC670E7ECE&Enum=115&AbsPos=1
Dustcaps aren't essential as I have these somewhere too, but would be a bonus if included.
Needs to post unless local (based in Norwich).
Thanks
