Well I was going to suggest Cobblers Nest, the guy there is a gent and trained as a Cordwainer - makes some really nice shoes himself, I’ve never had the opportunity to ask him to do any repair work but having had many long chats with him about shoes etc I wouldn’t hesitate.
Michael’s shoe repairs is who Carreducker (and others) use to sole their shoes (if rubber or for students or repair/cobbling, they rate him, I rate them… but I don’t know how long they’ve been using him - they didn’t know the Cobblers Neat was so near to them)
I’d only want to give my shoes to someone I’ve met and explained what I want face to face, like getting a watch serviced or a suit altered - if you wanted to make a small trip to East Finchley I’ve heard Koko’s are superb… my local folks are The Master Cobbler on upper street, they’d make it apparent they are bored by any enthusiasm you may have for the shoes you’re passing to them they do great work… @owl got any photos of the wear/repair needed?

In other news after a short break I finished these - bit rushed towards the end as I want to get going on another pair and need these for a mates wedding in a few weeks (I’ve got to properly finish the stick on lug sole and re wax and set the edges again, as you see by the glue residue, but that can wait). Next time I’ll use a thicker leather for the upper as these are super soft, very lightweight - basically posh navy blue Norwegian welted Dr Martens… ah well…

As @kboy says, take them to a cobbler, they use some kind of spray to soften the leather before putting them on a stretcher, my local guys charge £10 and if they don’t fit right after the first go they’ll keep doing it until they do for no extra charge 👍🏻

@Chalfie @glws - yup that’s mine - guards have been on and off a few times so far - take seconds to reinstate - currently running 27c but could go to 30c (might be tight up front) 👍🏻
QR skewer with everything removed but lever and nut through the thru-axle - PDW QR eyelet bits, SKS guards and some shoe laces (easier to adjust than zip ties, and kinder to carbon)
Oh and a Velcro patch under the fork crown bit

Hi all, selling my wife’s Apple Watch as she no longer wears it
In fully working order, everything that came in the box included, small signs of wear but very good condition - small scratch to right side of screen under crown but doesn’t effect legibility at all… see photos for more details
Happy to post or collection from Islington N1
