Dilemma - I planned a long training ride today and opted to take my Condor geared bike. I opened the garage and the front wheel was flat. I couldn't be bothered to change it, so I unbolted the H + Son front wheel off my langster sled and bolted it onto the condor and went out.
Question; have I just turned my condor trainer into a tempory slave for five hours...........?

just a quick jersey update....
I think the Jersey is a shit idea! If you were a proper "work m8" you would help me choose the "hipster" parts for my new, up-and-coming "hip hop slave bike" project, instead of sorting out jerseys for people you don't know, to take on a stupid retro bike trip.
Lol. Pat, put my name down, I'll have one. There's no way I'm wearing it, when I get the slave sled running.
You retro lot want to look at this... 57 pages in three and a half months, this is where it's at.

I'll get me coat...............

68 to be exact and as I am 47 I doubt I'll be in your road race!!! Got a baby of 16 months so time for cycling is limited these days and in great need of shedding the added winter pounds!
Well I'm 43 and there's plenty of people older than me who race in the eastern road race league. In fact in my last race of last year, there was a chap from Cambridge who was 58 and came 18th! I emailed his club and told them I thought he was the "Mr Miyagi" of racing!
You'll soon loose weight banging out that sort of milage every week. It will just drop off, plus think of the fuel you will save, that will be a few hundred quid!
Good luck to you, I think it's spot on. If you see a big fooker with all the roadie gear on, riding a silver langster, which for my sins has been "hipstered/ slaved up" on the A1060 (I'm from Bishops Stortford) shout some abuse at me!

Good thread.
- It takes an extra half hour to put all the winter clothes on.
- Crashing whilst wearing Rapha, Assos etc.
- Wondering what the “fook” you have to do to keep your feet warm whilst wearing 3 pairs of socks in a pair of shoes (1 size too big) plus overshoes.
- Constantly cleaning my bikes, because as a “roadie” having mudguards is a sign of weakness.
- Sitting in my “man cave” starring at my race bike, wondering when the “fooking” winter is going to end and I’ll be able to take it out!
Lol, it’s ok though, I still train hard and ride hard. You can’t make it hard enough!

My eventual aims are
1: lower rolling resistance by using larger rollers
2: add aerodynamic drag using a fluid dynamic brake
3: add inertia by a combination of the above4: Exercise more?
5: Eat less?Tester, I'm only pulling your leg. From your picture, I guess I'm about the same age and I was the same build as you. Now I'm a flying machine. If I don't make cat 2 racer this year, you will be the first to know. You can give me a plate full of ribbing!
Thanks for the post and I really like your bike. It shouldn't be indoors on rollers. ;-)

Jake brown Sir, I will post a picture. I wasn't sure if I'd get my pants pulled down for posting a "readers slave". I'll post a pic, first thing tomorrow. Thanks for your answer, I can sleep tonight.
I must be honest to say, HHSB thread is my favorite on LFGSS. LOL it's so wrong.
