I wondered if I could ask the advice of any seasoned long distance riders?
I am getting a new bike for this year’s TCR which I ordered in December and had hoped to receive by the end of March. Just heard today that it will be delayed until the end of this month/beginning of next and they could not guarantee absolutely that it would be ready by then. Assuming I get it at the beginning of May, do people think this is enough time to get used to the bike ready for the race?

That was good! Weather was not as bad as I thought. Got a puncture cycling back from Greenwich. Couldn’t be bothered to fix after 247km day, so expensive cab home.

If you do get an extrex make sure you have a cord to attach it to the handlebars in addition to the Etrex mount as they have a tendency to launch themselves from the handlebars when you hit a bump.

I don’t suppose you have use a Busch and Muller or other light too. I wondered how the brightness and beam shape compared. Supernova definitely looks better made.

Have you used the Supernova yet? How is it? I have a Busch and Muller Luxos U but am getting a new bike - a Fairlight Strael - and needed a light for the new bike. Had a few problems with the B&M but they work out cheaper as have built in USB charger but with the discount the difference is not as great.

Did you get a discount from Supernova? I think thet give a 40 or 50 percent discount to TCR competitors.

Barley probably a bit small. I have a super which is a probably bit too big. Decisions decisions.

Is a Carradice a very bad choice? I am put off the Apidura type bags for all the reasons listed above.

I am after the largest size Apidura seat post bag, preferably the waterproof one.

Anyone got one for sale?
