Hi Tom
Not sure if you are interested but I have a virtually unused wheelset taken from my carbon Giant Defy Advanced. They are Mavic CXP22 rims on Giant branded Formula hubs with Sapim Race spokes. They weigh 1950 g and are in mint condition.
Looking for £75 ono. I live in Herts but work in and around central London if you want to see them first.
There are some photos in the bike bits section here:

odd though that it's ST tubing, but has no bosses... I thought the ST was something to do with touring?
It has bosses on the down tube, but yes you
re right its 531 ST. STstands for super tourist which would you wouldn
t normally expect to find on a steep no ,clearance racing geo frame.Normally its found on deiciated touring bikes like the Dawes Galaxy.I did read taht ST was sometimes used by framebuilders on large frame sizes,to add a bit more strength and stiffness over regular 531tubes, for taller therefore heavier riders.
-
I think they will be happy. Its not got a "name" on it but its certainly no gas pipe special. Quite attached to this one,and it rides really nicely.Just a shame it
s always been too big otherwise I
d have spent a lot on refurbishing it.More room in the shed for the other 3 bikes too.Until the next project........

NOW SOLD
I`m selling my commuting/rat bike.
Its a spare parts special but would make the basis of a nice project.
The frame is Reynolds 531ST butted main tubes with cut out lugs and Campag drop outs,126mm o.l.d. spacing and has Reynolds 531 forks. It was originally badged a Technisport (sold via Hatfield cycles in around 1990).Intended as a fast training frame,it has steepish geometry,no mudguard eyes and no downtube bosses so makes an ideal conversion to fixed.
Rides really sweetly, but unfortunately is just too big for me.
Dimensions are 60cm c-t,with 57cm tt and 19.5cm head tube.
Frame is straight but paintwork is tatty.
Good bits include a rare Campag Olympus rear mech,Campag aero seatpost.
Some new bits, including Shimano r400 brake levers,SRAM chain,UN54 bb and 7 speed cassette.
Original Shimano 600 cranks with good 50/39 TA rings though non driveside pedal is stuck in crank arm due to the pedal bolt having rounded out.
Alhonga dual pivot brakes, wheels are 700c generic hubs with Alex rims.
3T bars and stem with quill adaptor.
Ideally would like to sell as complete bike for £130.
Live in Beds/Herts but work in and around Central London so can arrange collection/delivery to either.
May consider splitting for parts if no takers for complete bike.
