Looking for a bag that I can strap to my seatpost to carry day kit on a 2 week ride (luckily I don't have to carry tent/overnight kit. This seems like a fair option, teamed up with some compression straps to attach to seatpost/frame.

Yup, elastic strap installed properly can help make it nice and stable.

On the blue frame with the SS and Thomson seatpost it looks like a webbed strap. What's the deal? That looks lie a better bet i.e. no flex. Would you agree?

How are those rucksacks attached? Is there a special kit for attaching to seatpost/frame or is it just a compression strap wrapped around the bag in the most logical places?

For sale is my wicked Giant Bowery '72. I seriously love this bike but am just not riding it at the moment and don't have the luxury of space for a bike I'm not riding.
It's a Giant medium, which translates to 53cm ST i think.
It's had a new chain about 100 miles ago and a Halo 18t sprocket not long ago either. 48t chain ring.
Schwalbe Durano plus tyre on the back with loads of life.
105 front caliper (If you don't want the brake then I'll take a tenner off and keep it.
Cartridge bearings in the hubs which run really nicely.
I'd like £250 for it.

Cheers bothwell. Yeah I know a few ppl with them and they build quality isn't great. I've got a set of proper mudguards that i'd like to spend a bit of time fitting, leave on and forget about...any other suggestions? I'm sure there's a problem solver for this...

I want to fit full mudguards to a carbon fork with no eyelets. Is there a problem solver for this i.e. something that is secured by the skewer and then has an eyelet to screw into? I'm sure I've seen this but can't find it...Cheers!

How does everyone involved feel about me taking the lot and then selling the following to those concerned at the prices quotes above?
Wheelset: £60 – Rowhan (discounted to £110 for wheels, brakes, cassette and seatpost)
Brake callipers: £30 – Rowhan
Cassette: £15 – Rowhan
