I have a 1987 Raleigh Royal frame with 531 ST tubes & forks, Gipiemme dropouts and plenty of surface rust. PERFECT beater material as is, or could be a very nice project with some elbow grease and a respray.
Further pics hereFrame is 54cm and top tube comes in at 57cm, both measured centre to centre. Someone in a past life attempted to remove the very front braze-on cable guide, but personally never bothered me - actually feels like my nads would be safer in a crash like this!
Comes with original headset and Weinmann centre-pull Front brake, plus SKF BB. All are fitted and come with a decent amount of life left in them - probably more in the BB though...
Ideally I was looking to get back what I paid for it, as it's a lovely frame, rides beautifully with nice geometry and I love the rat bike aesthetic, but a new, more lovely frame means this one has to go.
What's fair? £80?
Also, please note: Frame is in Cambridge, can't ship it, I'm afraid - collection only...

Anyone interested in the above? Item is essentially as-new having spent its entire life in a protective case. Works perfectly and has never given me any problems, but I'm looking to upgrade so hence the sale.
The case is, cosmetically a little worse for wear; slightly scuffed from general use and the lining has come loose on the right side of the screen although functionally it's totally fine - you can always get a new one! It's the official Apple one, for reference, which I found to be by far the best of the ones I tried.
Item is in Cambridge and I don't really want to ship it, so collection only, at least at this stage. Will also be reset to factory settings on sale.
Happy to take some pictures tonight, particularly if people want to see the case damage, but it's an iPad and has no damage/marks to take a photo of, so will just grab a general one for 'proof of existence'.
Looking for £250.
Thanks for reading!

Slightly off topic, and apologies etc. that it's on Gumtree, but I have an amp for sale at the moment, if anyone's interested in such things...

Just £50 for this now... Go on, you know you want to play your tunes louder...

So, a new frame might be inbound, onto which the parts from this will be transplanted.
But that means frame/forks from the beater might be up for grabs.
1987 Raleigh Royal with 531 ST tubes & forks and plenty of surface rust (middle pic shows the sort of level we're talking) but could be taken back to metal and salvaged to a high level - PERFECT beater material as is though - if you like a bit of quality on your beater ride...
It's fairly little, maybe 54cm and that's about all I can remember for now but will measure up over the weekend and provide full details if there's any interest.
In an ideal world I'd be asking 100, but what's fair? 80?
If the other frame does indeed come in, I'll strip this one down and take some proper close ups of what you'd be getting, but happy to take more of the bike as it's currently built up in the interim. Or feel free to pop round/ask questions.

Yeah, it's pretty minimal in terms of equipment and it works the whole body, last night we did:
Front & side lunges with weights
Suspended 'rows' and 'presses' (using ropes)
Skipping
Bag work - quick jabs etc.
Chest & side hits using a medicine ball
Quick stepping
Various planks
other things...Anyway, I'm in OK shape and found it a very good workout - well worth a look.

Balls, just typed a long positive reply to this on my phone then lost it all. Can't be arsed to rewrite, so here's the tl;dr
Do this, it's great for your fitness
It really is, good thing with Marc as well is that it's not all Hi-NRG dance music and positivity; it's a bunch of tattooed people wailing on themselves to whatever 200BPM madness Marc is in the mood for each week (Rob Zombie remixes last night). Plus it's all about core-strength and cardio, which is obviously great for cycling in the long run.

Recently I've been going to a circuit class on Mill Road at Tube Boxing, hosted by Marc Williams and it's done wonders for my fitness, so thought I'd give him a plug here for anyone interested in such things.
Circuit classes are every Tues, Thurs and Fri evening and fill up fast, so definitely call/message ahead if you're interested. £5 a session for the classes and worth every penny imho

Permit me a sneaky pre-weekend bump? Or don't. Either way, its happened now...
Also, am I way off on the price, or is it the lack of willingness to ship that's making for lack of interest?
