AliExpress is good stuff. I've ordered plenty of stuff there, never any complaints. Most recent purchases were plastic lip balm tubes, tin lip balm cans and small plastic cosmetics containers. Good quality stuff and very well packed (obviously this doesn't vouch for all sellers though) and if you look for sellers which do free shipping by air mail you get your stuff long before the 60 days they get. Usually 1-1.5 weeks here in the EU, so probably similar in the UK.
Many sellers lie on the form on which they have to fill in the contents of the package to make it seem much less than it actually is, which can save you import costs, but probably also fucks up any insurance you might have.

Thanks guys, that looks amazing. I've enjoyed touring in similar temperatures before, so I think I can handle the heat. Any concrete planning is still long ways off, so for now I don't have many questions, but I'll be sure get back to you when I do.
On those photos the roads seem to have proper surfaces, are they all nice like that? -

Talk about Spain in here made me wanna go there. Probably gonna do some hiking and camping there for 2-3 weeks with a friend sometime this year. As for touring, I have something else in mind. I will want to get hold of a nice Relevate Designs saddle bag before heading out though, as strapping a backpack to the saddle was very doable, but not perfect.
I would very much like to see some of the Balkan during my next tour. Ljubljana, Slovenia would be a good starting point, easily accessible by plane from where I live.
The idea is to head south from there, cross Croatia and head into Bosia and Herzegovina. My original idea was to go into Serbia from there, then Montenegro, then south into Albania and then to Skopje through Kosovo and take a plane back home from there. But including getting lost and riding major detours because I can, I'd end up with about 1500km in the legs, which is about half of what I want to do.
So a possible different route would be to start the same in Ljubljana, head south through Croatia into Bosnia, then head towards Serbia and go down to Kosovo, crossing a small bit of Montenegro on my way there, then into Macedonia with a visit to Albania in between, then go south into Greece and then head east to end up in Istanbul and fly back home from there. I'd end up with 2000-2500km of travelled road. But now that I look at the map while typing this I may just want to cross Turkey a tiny bit to head north into Bulgaria and see some of the Black Sea, then keep heading north into Romania, cross a bit of Ukraine (if that's even legal these days) and fly back from Moldova. However, I think flights from there can be quite expensive so I'm going to have to think things through before making any final plans...
Anyone has experience with touring the Balkan area?
