I have a new Freschi frame I want to build into a 5 speed. It has a 70mm Italian BB and I want to fit a 1989 Campag Chorus chainset with one ring (obviously) on to it. What width of spindle would I need?
Is there an equation for working this out?

a similar thing happened to Robert Miller in 1985, he was regularly spat on by the crowds. All the Spanish in the teams conspired against him so he lost on the last stage. They were even congratulating him on the hills knowing there was someone ahead who would beat him (Pedro Delgado). The Spanish do not like 'foreigners' winning their tour.
