I've only had a Tory turn up once, it was Caroline Nokes and I was far too polite. She asked if I might vote for her, I told her there wasn't the remotest chance. She asked if she could leave a leaflet, I told her she'd just be wasting the paper.

Interesting point I read the other day - the Tories had been briefing a May election to keep Labour guessing, while planning to go in the autumn.

This had the effect that Labour were already primed to go when July 4th was announced, but the Tories were caught unaware. Utterly self-defeating.

Before that I voted for various parties, but would have identified most closely as a Charles Kennedy LibDem.

My main policy priority is fuck the Tories.

The problem with eliminating the Tory party is that something worse may appear in its place.
