Any nerds on here, I bought this touch screen unit for a couple of hundred quid maybe 3 or 4 years ago. At the time I was building photo booth units and I was using this with a micro PC to power them.
£20
Ideas that I've had for it but never got round to...
Wall mounted workshop computer for music and instructional videos
Smart home control unit for home tech
Any sort of POS/Kiosk machine
I'm in SE6 1QL

Just putting the feelers out before I spend ages doing an eBay listing, if anyone is on the lookout for some portable/battery strobe kit I'm selling my Elinchrom gear and moving over to Profoto.
I have a 2 head elinchrom ELB400 kit with an extra battery, longer cabling, big 5ft octa and some other stuff.
Anyone in the market for this sort of thing get in touch!

Powered it up earlier and it works, didn't make a note of the OS before I turned it off but looked like early OSX.
I've actually got a couple of older machines from my adolescence back at my mum's, an original iMac in lime green on OS8.2 and a blue slighter newer clamshell iBook on OS9-something. I occasionally get the iMac out when I'm visiting and play Carmageddon 2 on it

Will add stuff as I find it, all is collection from SE6 1QL or possible Volvo delivery depending on location...
Benches...
I have a few benches left over from an pop-up cafe project. The frames are black powder-coated steel with adjustable rubber feet, the bench tops are solid oak boards. They are a little tatty, but they look great. You could give them a sand and an oil or just use as is. They are all 350mm deep and 450mm tall. The short ones are 750mm long and the long ones are 2100mm ish. Shorts are £50 long ate£120.Oak veneered MDF...
2 pieces of oak veneered 18mm MDF. Left over from a photoshoot. Both are unfinished one side and painted a deep blue on the other. Both are around 1000mm x 1200mm and one of them has a 100mm hole bored roughly in the middle. Great material for cupboard doors or something. £5 for the piece with the hole. £15 for the other piece.Sheet steel...
2x sheets of 1mm steel. Also photo shoot leftovers. Each piece is unfinished steel on one side and textured paint on the other. One a rather lovely deep brick red the other a pretty tropical lime green. Both 1000mm x 750mm approx. Great for magnet walls or rust project. £10 each -
I'm still a beginner so haven't managed to make much headway with processing my own wood. Send like the main obstacles there are identifying wood after its been bucked up, and finding a manageable way to season it.
So for now I'm just using shop-bought. The walnut and the Sapele are from SL Hardwoods in Croydon, the oak I've had knocking about for ages
