I was looking at an r32 Passat on eBay recently.
sold twice on auction at around £2k, and neither buyer turned up, likely due to the tax cost.
still looked like a lot of car for the money.

I fitted a set of sks edge the other day like the ones in your photo.
I made a flap with a square cutout that matches the hole in the guard where the plastic clip holds the stay in place and fitted the flap in place of the rubber grommet bit.
it all works very nicely.

I've always fancied one, but as others have said they don't seem to deliver to the UK.
I did consider getting the Eurostar to Paris and riding one back...

i always try and do a quick shoulder check when going through points like this (there are a couple of bad ones on my regular route) and 9 out of 10 times the approaching driver will slow down.

lovely out here in the midlands today, really nice light this morning, and i managed a cheeky 'mixed media' commute home at lunch.
10/10 would commute on a beautiful november day again.

if only my budget allowed me to commute on a ritchey with deep crabonz.

The underside of the thing looked like garbage, even with support structures in place (is that normal?).

yes, although you can always finish surfaces by hand after printing if you need to get a smooth surface, but it's not something I've done much of.

rotated the two parts so that they printed upright.

print direction and overhangs is a main consideration for me when I'm designing stuff. e.g. I always try and orientate curves / holes so they print vertically from the bed as this makes them circular rather than faceted

a pic of the fitted front mudguard lowering bracket thing. lowers the guard by about 10mm and has about 15mm of further adjustment.
