brute force with an old seat, 10 ft scaf pole clamped onto top of post, made a puller thing to try and wind it out...
it's properly stuck - needs cutting out. (or caustic soda, but i don't want to melt the paint off)

lovely commute this morning on my equilibrium after fitting a new cassette and chain.
i really need to get the stuck seatpost out now though. just nervous of fucking the frame up in the process :(

i've emailed charge to see if they sell the fork seperately - mine came with the aluminium fork

this is nice! I like charge, my plug SSCX is great fun to ride and really versatile.
I wish charge would give out some more info on the 2018 steel frame plugs. they seem to have gone quiet on them since last year when they released a load of promo shots...
don't suppose the are any markings on the fork, or you know the make? assuming it's a 1 1/8 straight steerer?

seems like yours might be a '91 as the graphics on my '93 were more of a 'script' style font than a squared font on yours...
do the gear cables run along the top tube, or the downtube?

mine was almost exactly the same as this...although this is an apex which was the model down i think. probably the same frame, but axis had higher end components

shame about the Marin. those diamond back frames are nice though, I had an axis in my youth. I saved up for it for ages! can't remember what happened to it though...
mine was a rich dark green colour with some sparkle in the paint. 1993 maybe?

still, I wouldn't class hiding a brake cable as 'clever' if the brake is less functional than a regular lever / likely to cause instant death

i made the frame bag - first time i've used a sewing machine!
it's very basic but did the job for the trip and been using it daily on commutes for a few weeks.

schwalbe x one bite 33mm - a bit skinny for the terrain really but the widest i could fit.
also tried on a set of 35mm conti cyclocross speed but they rubbed on the rear stays.

would neoprene do the job? or is it too heavy / too flexy / not flexy enough?
