yes, i'm debating mudguards. although with it being a functional i guess there shouldn't really be a debate.
maybe i'm trying to keep it FUNctional? and maybe mudguards aren't fun?
i'd like to be able to wheelie it, could fit a short rear guard as i won't be doing group rides on it... dunno
the bike repair stands are at the station - there's a big fixed to the floor track pump as well! not that i've ever had to use any of it but at least it's there if the need arises! -
bars + seatpost are on. had to switch stem due to oversize bars. feels good but will take a few rides to get used to the width #ooer

I emailed charge back in June regarding the new 2018 steel plug - I was told they had issues with their assembler (manufacturer?) but were back on track and were planning to release early in the new year. meanwhile they had been focusing their attention on the fabric brand.
hopefully they stick to this - the 2018 prototype bikes looked pretty nice. -

first commute on tubeless tyres this am, was bit worried as I took a bit of a ghetto approach, but seem to hold air fine and felt a bit quicker?! - although this may just be the #newparts effect...

13 mile test commute this morning.
shortened the chain before i set off. bought new blocks yesterday which need installing as a matter of urgency, also need to ferule the bare ends of my shifter cable outer...
friction shift feels good on the 9sp cassette, but need to get a (cheap) NW chainring as i dropped the chain when i hopped up a kerb.
digi calipers confirmed 26.2 seatpost - none at the LBS so will have to be an internet job. -

progress at last!
gears are on - sram 9sp cassette, LX rear mech, dx thumbie on friction seems to get through all the gears ok!
rear brake cable re-noodled with a neater cable routing.
going to test ride in the morning to the station (2 miles) and see how it goes.still need a narrow wide ring, seatpost, better v's, new rear panier rack, and bars + grips etc.
just popped into the local graf shop...
ideas forming...
