do you find you get more close passes etc. since having cameras?
i used one for a while, but ultimately stopped using it... i'm not sure if it made me more aggressive / confrontational as a rider, or whether i just noticed bad drivers more as i was subconsciously looking out for them to capture them on film...
i think it made me more 'zen' after stopping using it. -

schools are starting to go back it would seem.
traffic levels / close passes back up as people remember how to drive in traffic, or not, as was the case with the bmw driver who had clipped a kerb at speed and totalled his 'ultimate driving machine' backwards into a lamppost at a busy roundabout...happy new year!

sorry, I did apologise!
the build was a bit thrown together, have a small shopping list post Xmas.
bigger tyres (paselas maybe?) -8 gloss black stem (researching currently) might go for slightly flared bars, bigger range rear cassette, replace silver 105 mechs for black, longer term some new wheels.
unfortunately wasn't able to fit the guards as I don't have a thread chaser and the eyelets were a bit painty.
rides real good! -
built my Kepler up yesterday for an inaugural ride to the leics and rutland CTC mince pie run.
wet and horrible and thoroughly enjoyable!
apologies for crappy nds photo.
http://www.ctc.leic.org.uk/Mince_Pie_Run.phpedit : added a less crappy photo

we had a yepp mini on a kid hauler up until the age of about 3 and a half, then switched to a cheap toptube mounted seat until she was old enough to ride her own bike.
for me, it felt much more secure having the kid between my arms than hanging off the back.
also meant you could chat easily with them and point stuff out easier.
this was on a single speed 26" MTB with 44 16 gearing.
not too much in the way of hills on our school run though... -

last commute of the year today, got the train instead of full commute due to inclement weather conditions.
#backonitnextyear
