Police were called to the A6 Derby Road, between Hathern and Kegworth, just after 1.20pm. It was reported the collision had involved a silver Mini Cooper and a cyclist.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment but died shortly after arriving. The driver of the Mini – a man in his 20s – was not injured during the collision. No-one was arrested.
unfortunately the first of two fatalities in the Loughborough area in the space of two days.

i know it's at the cheapo end of things, but does anyone have any experience of the wltoys brushless buggies?
i'm awaiting delivery of a 124016 for me and my teenage child to mess about with and have read that it might need some setting up before running it despite it being a rtr (greasing the difs etc)
40mph out of the box means it probably won't be long before it needs some tlc... -

I was lucky enough to get hold of this sweet little mini cargo a couple of days ago.
I've since made a couple of changes to it to personalise it a bit, but won't be doing anything too drastic as it's so original.
I put on a spare brooks c17 and a nice aero campag seatpost I had knocking about and also changed the swept bars for some chrome risers to make it fit a bit better.
I picked up a folding crate from the 'midl at Lidl' which I've adapted slightly to fit onto the front rack.
I've been lusting after a mini cargo for ages, really love the petit porters and Orbea Katu's but couldn't quite justify the cost of a new one so I was super stoked to get hold of this. it was only about 20 mins drive from my house to pick it up and it's in stunning condition considering it's from 2014, apparently having been purchased and then unridden for the first 9 years of its existence. -

perfect! much better than doing stuff in midjourney if it can be avoided and puts food on the table for a real human who has doubtless spent years honing their craft.
VP stuff in unreal is pretty mindblowing - i went to the unreal conference at excel a few years back and i found the stuff they were doing with virtual studios and cameras really impressive.
the AI question gets thrown around in our studio a lot from those higher up the chain at the moment so i know how frustrating it can be when someone says, "can we use AI?"
i was almost embarrassed to suggest it tbh...
best of luck with the project!
