It's been two year since I last asked on here, but I'm coming back to Manchester next week.
It's my girlfriend's birthday so I'd like somewhere nice for dinner. We're staying at the Alan hotel (I think)so nearby would be a bonus.
We eat everything. For her it would be a bonus if it was organic and local, foraged bits too would be nice. -

Cool, I’ll post on here when they’re ready.
I stuck some stickers up this morning in Yorkshire.
(On my story, but I don’t know how to link to that) -

I’d like to build a new wheel for the front of my mountain bike. It’s a 29er, takes a 3 inch tire and I’m going to build it with a dynamo. I’m gonna be Bike packing on this bike and I just need some rim recommendations that will take what’s right and suitable for a 3 inch tire 32 hole and Bike packing. I guess I’m kind of new mountain bikes so I don’t know I’m looking for any suggestions, please.

Regarding the dust mites, I changed our pillows to latex ones, I have hardwood floors and generally try to clean and dust regularly. Also along the herbal medicine route I’ve been making an effort to add some foods into my diet which are said to have natural antihistamine in them like nigella seeds and nettles.

I'm giving this thread a bump as I'm asthmatic and I try to manage my symptoms as best I can without too much medication (of course I do carry an inhaler just in case). I'm aware of what triggers my asthma and try to avoid them as much as possible, like dust mites, poor diet (like too much sugar and beer).
Lately I got interested in herbal medicines especially herbal teas and I feel like the blend I've been using has been keeping my symptoms away.
I've been blending different ingredients which have a history of being used traditionally and have scientific evidence, like Thyme, Peppermint, Marshmallow Root, Mullein and some others.
Has anyone else tried anything like this? -

Thanks. My partner and me moved to near Hebden Bridge a couple of months ago. I’m getting my city needs met by visiting Manchester. I’ll try to make one of these at sometime.
