I have done this one for the last 10 years, it's great: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2011/nov/17/how-cook-perfect-christmas-cake
I usually make it at the end of October

OK, what chains are we recommending these days?
We had a Pragmasis protector 11mm (https://securityforbikes.com/proddetail.php?prod=P11-x.x) with a noose link which was fine until it got left behind (screaming toddler apparently) and was not there on returning the next day.
I just tried to reorder that but they have stopped making the 11mm chain and only have sizes I don't want left:( I've found the loop very handy for locking up: noose around the stand/railings/lamppost/etc and then D lock through the frame and back wheel.
Looking on sold secure gold minimum (for insurance purposes) I think options are:
(Protector 11 mm: 1.2 m + noose: Ā£77 / 3 kg / Gold)
Protector 13 mm: 1.2 m + noose: Ā£94 / 4 kg / Diamond
Hiplok XL: 1 m: Ā£72 / 5 kg / Diamond
OKG noose: 1.2 m: Ā£58 / 4.7 kg / Gold -

Thanks - I had another go using the product code on your pic. That took me to the TRP spec sheet:
https://tektro.eu/wp-content/uploads/TRP_CLine_E.pdf, which saysRed: Semi-Metallic pads
Copper: Full Metallic (opt.)For which the TRP part is Q20.11

The UA has a much deeper box which is handy sometimes. I think itās a tiny bit wider too. Kids preferred the RM cos suspension and both me and mrs found the RM so much better to ride. Much more like a regular bike than UA. I could also get the RM thru cycle to work scheme but not the UA so a fair bit cheaper despite higher list price

Sorry to hear about your crash. I hope the surgery goes to plan with a fast recovery.
I only discovered this thread today and wow your house is amazing. Something to be very proud of.
If you are in need of distracting while you're laid up, I can look out the usage numbers for our ASHP + PV + battery system that we had installed at the start of July. (Tho we are grid connected). If memory serves, we didn't buy electricity until September (we are in East Lothian)
