What would be stuff to look out for looking for a second hand steel road bike between 3-400?

colour looks to be a metallic bronze/orange. groupset is raleigh branded huret, chainset is raleigh branded sakae, brakes are weinmann, hubs are maillard. tubing is unmarked. i presume it is 531, but I do not know for certain

Is this a good deal? I've tried searching on the here about Raleigh TI's and they seem relatively well thought of (for the price). BUT - I haven't seen any that are this colour on any site? What would be the things to look out for if I buy it?

If you want i have a pair of as new odyssey twisted pedals and some homemade holdfast style straps you can have for £20.

My pedals are ok - just need some straps/different toe clips.

Yeah, at the moment I'm pedalling with my arch a lot of the time which isn't good. Think I'm going to try the small toe clips and if not these ones - http://restrap.co.uk/old/home.html

They're just normal ones with toe clips at the moment. The small ones on that site look good. I just wear vans or trainers on my bike, no proper bike shoes.

Would re straps be good ones to go for?

I have pretty small feet, size 7. The toe clips on my bike feel too big. I went to a bike shop and the guy wasn't sure what to do - any ideas/any for sale?
