Several years ago Graham Weigh supplied the bikes for juniors at the Manchester Velodrome. They were built for him by his neighbour Paul Donohue and were equipped with shorter Miche cranks. I wonder if this frame is one of these?
Beautiful machine but sadly way too small for me.This is really interesting to see the name of Paul Donohue being cited here. I do own a Paul Donohue track frame 853 which is also a small size, however the top tube has no slope, actually a slight downards slope, but the red really match the red on the picture of your wife's bike. I would be keen to know more about Mr Donohue (in PM if not related to the bike in sale) if you ever have the chance to share this with me.
Sorry for the hijack, but bump for a beauty that I would buy if I havent had this other bike already !

Not all, but yes. Like the europeans - makes more sense when on the road.
Could you explain why? I know, riding on the right side of the road, etc. but what does it change? Plus someone explained me that usually brake on motorbike is on the right and clutch on the left? (not sure bout that though).
my young years in Belgium reminds me that I had my rear brake lever on the right, but I also remember that I was advised to use more the rear brake than the front, which is a total popular misconception.
On the image, maybe the dude is just left-handed.

I widened an old steel frame the Sheldon way.
Scary while doing it, but it was a breeze. Thanks you just made up my mind on this :) Thanks for all the advice and yes it's steel. Hubs looks interesting and super versatile though I will end up spending twice the money on a wheelset than on the rest of the parts, a bit of non sense :)

Hi there,
Sorry to dig up this, but I'm not sure what to do. Googled it a bit but would like some advice. Got an old frame with 110mm rear spacing. Whereas it was a standard for single geared bike at that time, it means none of my current wheels fits in. I have fitted so far a standard shimano bb 68mm with a crankset that I m not sure it is road or track (think track - cheap branding), but that combo (bb + cranks) worked fine on a 120mm rear spacing that I had.
Should I :
Go Sheldon Brown way and try to lift up the rear spacing up to 120
http://sheldonbrown.com/frame-spacing.html > Spreading the frame
Bearing in mind that the frame is old, so I'd like not to snap off the chainstays neither seatstays. It is only 10mm though and Sheldon says there's no problem for such a step.Or go and get a 110mm hubs / whole wheel ( Any suggestion as it is for a beater? dont need a Phil Wood, definitely.) and then see what happens with chainline. (afraid it would be out of reach by far.)
Or something else? any suggestions, ideas, experiences would be gladly appreciated.

Oh that's funny. I think I have the exact same frame (mine being midget size) although my components are less kickass. I can't praise enough the power of 853 reynolds. It is just stiff as hell and seems so light. The owner will love it for sure.
By the way, never found much info on Paul Donohue, especially that frame model. Have you got any information that google doesn't on that frame model or on Donohue? Good luck with sale and job hunting.

So I'm getting a Ortlieb backpack and a friend made last week the cheeky comment that I am becoming a bag hoarder like some girls hoard shoes. I have to admit she is quite right, so this is surplus to requirement :)
Chrome Citizen Messenger bag: Black with black buckle. had some use but in a very good condition with plenty of life left.
Perfect commuter bag, for work or uni, or as a day tripper. Still waterproof as approved by my two hours ride in snowy London last Saturday. I gave it a wash since then fyi. It has got the handy stabiliser strap and it is left shoulder.
There is some little green paint spots inside, not sure what they are, received the bag like this and never rubbed off or washed off. This is just visual, but then it is inside the bag.

http://www.chromebagsstore.com/bags/messenger-bags/citizen-buckle-bag---medium.htmlsold.
I live in NW6, work in Croydon, can meet or even deliver if distance is reasonable (zone 2 or on my commute). Would rather not to post at the moment but that can be arranged if no takers in London.

There is one on Seymour place. pretty big and I am thinking that only MTB or really thick tyres could survive that one without damage. It is being there for months now, I think they lamely tried to fix it, but the hole is still digging itself because it wasn't done properly.
Also this one in Streatham. Not only about the constant massive potholes that forced you to swerve, but also the lanes are very narrow from wider lanes and cars often try to push you to the kerbs.

Bump if someone has one today I can pick up in London... Long reach please. Or post later. Can swap for a medium reach miche recessed nut too.
