[QUOTE=Dammit;3976708]Very low level, ignorant trolling- often encountered in office environments.
And i think Troll HQ is the pub at the end of my road, High percentage of London taxi drivers in there. I'm like the smelly kid when they see me walk my bike in, even the rare occasion I'm not the smelly kid

Glad to see not one of the old bill saw the van overtake me as I stopped at a red light to go steaming through it nearly taking out 15 people just about to cross only to get stuck in traffic on the roundabout by Trafalgar Square a mere 10 feet further forward.
My hilarious "bloody cyclists" comment also went unnoticed
The comma button on my keyboard is clearly broken

There are only two things to take from that article
(1) the guy is a complete waste of space / idiot.
(2) however bonkers he might be (and he is clearly batshit bonkers) he has PERCEPTIONS which are his reality. Whilst we need to fight for what is right we also need to try to work out how to minimise the amount of nutjobs like him who have completely warped perceptions.
(2.1) that Rod Liddle is a cunt

You know how every spring there are a spate of posts proclaiming "Noddergeddon!" due to the numbers of noobs and fairweather riders swelling the roads. Is it possible that this is Noddergeddon? Once you've had a few months of ca$h in your pocket from travel cards, or are still feeling good from not sitting in constant traffic jams, going back to those old ways is a bleak prospect. Are we seeing the first wave of inexperienced riders toughing it through their first dark, bleak winter?
ffs thought I'd slipped under the radar

Fuck my life! I'm gonna go mental.
I see the first nodder, no lights earphones on, riding in the gutter and just shake my head and carry on. Literally 20m down the road another one this time with one weak front light, wobbly as fuck, with even bigger headphones. This guy swerves suddenly causing a van to slam on the brakes. A few minutes later a third headphoned guy riding his shitty mountain bike and checking his phone, I only saw him when he swerved out and hit me, this time I swore at him loudly and called him lots of shit.
But it was the retarded woman who tried to undertake a massive fucking HGV while it had already started turning left that tipped my off the edge. I had a massive go at her, I actually got really emotional especially after all these deaths recently, I graphically explained to her how she would be squashed for toe to head and how her brain would explode onto the kerb. I honestly think that if I hadn't screamed at her to stop she would have at the very least had the biggest oh shit moment of her life.
Cunts
Had a woman do exactly the same scooting along the gutter on the inside of a left turning HGV. Couldnt quite believe what i had just watched, caught up and (as calmly as i could) suggested she enquire about cycle training before she ends up another cyclist on the news. Felt a bit of a tit as I have never had cycle training but luckily I have at least the minimal amount of brain cells to not put myself in the blind spot of a lorry against the kerb!

It is with a heavy heart yet empty pocket i am selling my bike. It's a Marin Inverness, i believe the size is 56cm (I'll check when i get in). It is as it was when it came out of Cycle Surgery a couple of years back (less one brake and some reflectors. Recently changed rear (gatorskin) with a few miles on it.
Decent condition no knocks or dents and to be honest pretty sure there aren't any scratches on it anywhere either! Only problem is rusty nuts here and there. Other than that its sound.
Ill have a look see if i can locate the other brake this weekend but other wise it is ready to go. It will have the original pedals and straps back on it when it goes
Looking for around £200.
If anyone wants any info or specific pics let me know
Cheers
Anthony
