Phew, otherwise you could have been writing my autobiography

Now doing it with a couple of mates who swore many times when i mentioned the double so I am planning to leave my car in Ipswich (or maybe omewhere slightly closer) before Saturday night so We have only got to go an extra 30 miles Sunday morning rather than the whole way back to Kent

Are there any bail out options if the double is attempted?

Hopefully not needed but if it looks like i wont be getting home til late in the afternoon I may have to cut my losses (if possible)!

I am a stubborn bastard though so hopefully wont be needed!

Wowzers everyone was out this morning, cars punishment passing me to get caught at the lights literally 2 cars length later, wobbly cyclists trying to fit in a gap about 12 inches wide between me and another cyclist (while stopped at the lights, then for the full house pedestrians glued to their phones weirdly looking for traffic on the opposite side of the road before stepping out!

The inserts where the pedal screws into on my driveside crank arm have effed up so need to replace the arm.

Popped into Evans on London Bridge and they said to bring it in next week they can do it for me. Crisis averted.
Now at least my sweet fixeh will be ready to ride while it gathers dust in the garage

The reason i dont have one is because my wife wont let me, the reason she wont let me is because i am a ham fisted idiot. How easy is it to completely eff this (seemingly easy job) up

Will Evans absolutely not drill out a rounded off chainring bolt for me (sounds like something a big shop wont do in case of damaging the chainring/crank)?

Its the final solution to my drivetrain noise woes and I dont have a drill at home!

Lovely interaction this morning, close pass, snot rocket and spit all from the same dickhead cyclist and within 200 yards. None of it on purpose just an idiot with zero awareness of what/who is around them!

Making the most of wife being on maternity leave so not having to hang around and get my daughter fed and dressed for school. This morning thought Id add on a few extra miles so went from Kent to the city via Richmond park. Was so late for work but a bit of riding away from traffic makes the commute so much more pleasurable

Got there around 7 I think. I was minding my own business it was the big group that were overtaking me then cutting directly in front which seemed a bit like a punishment pass. Anyway I still loved it and am actually going back tomorrow. To be honest I probably wouldnt have even remembered it happening if it werent for @dangerous_d mentioning it

I always assume people around me have no bike skills just in case. I'm not in any rush anyway just enjoying the sun on my bike so taking the long way round people and waiting for the groups to pass before overtaking anyone isnt an issue

First ever trip to Regents this morning and while 99% of the cyclists there were no aggro at all I had 3 people in the same group of about 8 flying past and all cutting in front of me when only just past my front wheel. As I said it was my first time so not sure if that's the norm but would like to think it isn't!
