Traffic built up there stopping anyone filtering is nothing new but it was the people on bikes with no filtering etiquette whatsover that made this morning particularly bad. Rolling up to a (small) gap and the two cyclists behind me decide they wanted to get there ahead of me, one up the inside and one up the outside then trying to squeeze into said gap and both before fully passing me causing all involved to have to brake and unclip and slow everything down.

Life was so much simpler when the bridge was only open to cyclists taxis and buses

Must find another route that avoids London Bridge. If it's not taxis/buses/vans blocking you from filtering its pillocks on bikes who see the tiniest gap and throw themselves in it regardless of whether there's another cyclist there or not!

Ccant really moan I suppose after 10 years of commuting without them myself I must have sprayed some faces in my time!

Smug me with my new mudguards getting zero spray lasted about 5 minutes before I realised just how few people have them, and how much spray comes up off the back wheel in front and directly into my face!!

I had the same issue between Medium and Large (by just standing over them in the shop). Large felt huge but felt medium I think would have just been a touch cramped. Ordered Large in the end and it's actually perfect when I set it up.

Just need something to trim the stays but no rattle and decent coverage

Just 2 hours to put mudguards on. I've got a terrible feeling tomorrow mornings commute is gonna be filled with me swearing at them for rubbing

So after 6 months Evan's finally got the rear seat stay bridge adapter thingy to me and I half guessed how to attach it. Should this be there or the other side of the seat stays (or have I got it completely wrong)? Mudguards en route so I guess I'll be able to work it out a bit better when that fun job starts

Thought it was a coincidence as I had no discomfort on the bike (quite the opposite) but after riding on the wtb saddle for a month or two and I put my back out (not whilst riding so could be completely unrelated) but I've never had back pain before so may be something in it

So nice this morning with a bit of rain, mudguards and shoe covers on and the rain seems to have scared off quite a few cyclists (I know more cyclists is a good thing etc but no undertaking this morning and everyone generally going at the same leisurely pace).

Ah right, I think one ambulance had left the scene with someone in it then as I was approaching the lights so only one person still there.

Hope everyone is OK, always shakes me up when this stuff happens on my route!

Was still there when i passed at 9, with more ambulances and police! Was it a cyclist or someone on a motorbike? I havent got the stomach/eyes to look too closely but there was a motorbike on the central bit of the bridge.

When i usually eat everything in the fridge after a 10 mile commute probably should have planned a 35 mile commute slightly better! Bonked at Bluewater and limped to my mums 15 miles after that.

Seems there are no petrol garages in kent only carveries, was tempted.

I just cant understand why they put those anti terror barriers in the road rather than on the pavement. But if they are going to put them there then take out one of the lanes going over the bridge its not wide enough for a bus and usually 2 lorries holding up the whole bridge!

These scooters seem to be a real high priority atm. At Bank Junction two policeman on horses and one of them bellows across the road to the guy at the lights on the electric scooter how they are illegal and if he doesnt get off and walk its 6 points on his license etc.

Meanwhile, there was a white van at the lights waiting to go across the junction (is it a free for all again) and lady cyclist who didnt even slow down whilst RLJ, not a problem apparently

But also, above anything else. Fuck that bus driver on London Bridge this morning who was edging 8 inches forward everytime the lorry in front of him did so he blocked a clear run the whole way over the bridge for everyone on a bike!

Whole journey seemed a bit aggy this morning, cars close passing and bibbing for cyclists to get in the gutter, a cyclist just stops right in front of me while we are filtering so he can have a pop at someone who close passed him, wally who was turning out of a side road who had edged forward enough to completely block the cycle lane with bonus points for the dick next to me who was in such a rush to get into the traffic 5 meters in front of him, refused to let me out of the cycle lane to go around side turn dickhead!

Still despite all this managed a pretty chilled and hungover bike ride in the sun on my favourite bike. Shame it was to get into work but cant have everything i suppose!

Mine is only 45 minutes on a train and the two days I had to do it it this week i genuinely felt depressed and caught myself being short with everyone at home! If i had to do it full time I'd be unbearable!

First blissful commute in on my now silent Dolan. It only took changing the cranks/chainring/rear cog/chain/pedals to eliminate the unknown noise (turns out it was the chain making the terrible grinding noise).

9/10 would skid again
