I was thinking just south of 8K was quite reasonable until you and others posted so much more. Ah well, must try harder this year.

About 7700 miles. Most of it, too much, commuting.

One busted set of forks on the commuter. One busted frame on geared roadie. Two broken bones and 16 stitches. Eventful year in many ways.

Loved this ride last year, was a twisted kind of fun.

...Definitely up for a repeat ride as long as I get an hour's head start or the rest of you are riding BoBikes OR mr "I was just cruising" from Clapham to the start, swops legs with mine - LOL...

Yeah that was rather rubbing it in a bit wasn't it. Sorry about that. Not really the legs though mostly the bike.

Great ride. Always enjoy the rolling countryside around there fixed. Cheers to Ludd for the fine leading and for the bloke who shared out the que sheets. Saved me getting lost after waiting for ages after Duxford.

Didn't help me getting from the pub to the station and following the wrong set of lights. Doh. Still no harm done, arrived in time to wait for the train.

Great day for it today guys, enjoy the return leg in the sunshine.

Managed to get home fine, if somewhat later and drunker than I originally intended. Was tucking into the hearty casserole that was waiting for me when my front tire went bang. Timing.

Took a dose of HTFU. Worked a treat. I'll be there for the start.

Banged up the hand I broke a bone in recently on the way home tonight. Not sure I'm gonna make it tomorrow.

Have prepped the bike in anticipation anyway. Decision will likely be last minute depending on how the hand feels, so if I don't turn up at Tooting Broadway on time then don't delay on my account.

I'm in for this. Outward journey only though. I'll take the train back after a refreshing beverage or two, so in for a group save if enough others are.

Enjoyed last years trip apart from riding up to Christmas Common with an ever decreasing amount of air in my from tire.
