A Hard Day In January
Saturday 19th, 10am — Marlow routeIn for this. Looks like a cracking route.
In true LFGSS fashion I reckon groups will be worked out at last possible moment, based on who actually turns up, like 5 minutes after we should have started.
Also in for feeder ride from Richmond Park.

Saw a bearded chap, head to toe in Rapha on a ti fixed bike in Richmond Park around 2.45 today, I was similarly attired, bearded and also on a ti fixie skid bike going the other way. Also got overtaken by another fixie skidder on a white framed bike. Was just back from riding to Windsor, so a little tired.
That was me. Afternoon. What a fine one it was for a few laps of the park. Actual sunshine and blue sky for a change. I'll blame that for my inability to spot you. Dazzled by the light or some such bollocks. Did see the bloke on the white frame a few times though.
Actually have now just recollected another possible fixie skidder spotting, did you have a messenger bag?

I've liked everything Japanese I've had, it all seems very clean, but has some lovely flavours, the yamazaki 18 is beautiful.
There was a guy doing samples of the 12 year old at Waitrose Canary Wharf this afternoon. Even though I'd just popped out from work I did have to stop for a quick chat and a wee sample (or two)... v nice if a little pricey at £35 or so.

So my wife storms up the stairs with her best "I found a stash of pr0n" tone in her voice, and says "what the f**k is this you wierdo!!!!?"
and she's got my bow tie headband in her a hand and a "you better talk quick" look on her face.
Don't worry she'll get over it after the first few times you ask her to wear it.

Ledus are sold out, any idea when there'll be more?
Cheers
Pm RR, he's the guy making them...
Or email him at contactus@leduswheelus.com. That's what I did. Got a quick response with due date. Top service.

Previous time I did it, we met at the C&H then did a speedy ride straight to Kew, losing people en route.
Must be somewhere along in Wandsworth / Upper Putney..?
Chalfie - will ride down with you? (If I'm not filming over the weekend).
Google maps tells me to go past your place then towards wandsworth
No ideas about the boozers down that way, I can have a look.. somewhere on the 214 is direct
If you're going through Tooting Bec on A214 then The Wheatsheaf, is a good pub. Decent selection of ales and other intoxicants.
A few sheffield stands outside. Big windows so you can see your bike.
^They fix to the spokes with zip ties so would be a pain to remove and reinstall frequently. Haven't bothered taking them off in the few months I've had them. No probs so far.
Take the batteries with me when I lock the bike up is all. Less identifiable that way, I reckon.
