Was looking at the alu frame, askium wheeled, 105 kit grey one, came out of jejames £170 better off (or equal with discount) with a GT series 2, 105, carbon forks and a bit at the back, 105 hubs on cxp22 rims, and it's not a board man

Still wish my dad would of got a new one and gave me his bianchi though, but I'll get one one day, and a cannondale :D

Got a cat eye velo? Really liked it till I got bored of having a speedo, found myself trying to hold certain speeds and my commuting times were faster without it

The one I was looking at has a big areo bit, might just wait till I can afford the proper thing, roman up and try it :D

That's the tape my dads got, it's nice and thin, so should double up well. Any advice for something that's not Italian????

I've currently got like a matte looking Easton tape, and as it doesn't look too smart thought I'd try and clean it up. I was feeling a matte looking, flatish tape to pull it off?

Do you think a modern bike could pull off stealth harlequin? Would cloth tape look wrong? Would normal gel tape be too fat?

I've been looking at the regal areo seat posts on eBay, 20 quid for a carbon areo seat post, are they any good?

Other trouble is there only 27.2, would it be ok to use a spacer to shim up to my required 31.6?

I'm guna test it, roll down the hill take the corner as fast as possible, slow down the rest of the hill to home, check speedo.

Would a slack head angle actually make you slower in a straight line? Like if it was a normal road bike with a crazy slack head angle? Everything else the same.....

Is it just me who feels a bike with slack angles - ie a downhill bike takes the same corner faster and feels better than a road bike?

Just need to HTFU and clock miles upon the road bike? Maybe I need to put a speedo on them both to see which is actually faster.....

Surely th idea of a hhsb is that it's cool as hell, but you'd have to change bars and gearing to go on track, anything with over 80gi can't be a Hhsb cos it wouldn't be able to be ridden to the coffe shop on.

A look areo carbon bike with huge seat to bar drop, big gearing and clinchers that wear out in a couple of miles is a track bike! There's a difference......

It's been built for a purpose and does that well, doesn't need 'guards or more gears cos it won't go far. (48 of a cx on the front and 28-12 on the back) sooooooo want this bike!!!

I doubt anyone will ever weigh it, the 6.8 was a personal target I set myself.

Ow right :) just sempt strange to want to add weight back on to keep it at 6.8. But that's still probably 1 or 2kg lighter than mine :/
