turds, would love to take this at 55 but 57s a tad too
big
Yes, it's weirdly sized on the Viking website, I don't know where they get the 55 from.
I usually ride a 22" square which is near as dammit a 56cm, maybe a tad smaller? I got on fine but it's a personal thing obviously. Got a couple of people looking at it this week. It's still built up so if you want to check it out for size , feel free. I'm in east London. -

Any of these look familiar?http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sma-green2010/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
So different seller but very similar photo location and style of ad. Once again a bunch of brooks. Anyone recognize any?

Is 55cm referring to the length of the seat tube centre to top?
CheersIf you check this- http://vikingcycles.com/store.php it'll give you the exact spec.
They call it a 55 but the seat tube is 57cm center to top and top tube is 56cm center to center. -

SOLD....
This is not the British Viking! It's from these guys http://vikingcycles.com/store.php
Looks the part, rides and handles surprisingly well. Allegedly built from Reynolds 520
I bought this as a stop gap while my other frame was repaired. It's now finished so this has to go.
Excellent condition, only a few marks from locking etc. Strangely chromed underneath the paint (polish it if you hate orange) so no rust anywhere.
No dings, dents or damage . I knew I'd be selling it soon so I was extra careful. The stickers and tape on the head tube &down tube are just to prevent scratches(no marks underneath)
The forks in the majority of the pics are not for sale.
The original forks come with it but are not perfectly straight. Cosmetically good though possibly they could be cold set..Both sets are the same length, rake and trail.
Comes with shitty tange headset and I probably have a BB that will suit.
To avoid confusion for anyone who hasn't looked at the link.
It's sized as 55cm, but.....
Seat tube c-t 57cm
Top tube c-c 56cm
Head tube -15cm
Seat angle-74.5
Head angle-74.5
Fork rake-28mm
BB drop-6cm
Chainstay-40cm
Standover-82cmThis is for collection/meeting in London only

Billie Joe Armstrong signature Les Paul Jr... Gorgeous...
I'm about to sell this! Didn't see the point of putting it in the classifieds...

59 , melody maker. All original except I had the pick up re wound by bareknuckle.
Great guitar but I don't need it anymore. -
Bought this not so long ago from a guy on here but has since been unused.
In good usable condition. It's had a brake on it at some time but I'd say there's plenty of meat left. Runs true with smooth bearings. No skewer/qr unfortunately.
Comes with worn 28mm Conti ultra sport and tube.
£45 or will trade for midget with a flat head and no teeth.
Collection from E8 or I can meet central London. -
Some fakengers apparently wear imitation radios to look like couriers. :)
I don't know how you find out if one works, but I suppose you'd probably have to get hold of it and press some buttons.
Really?
Bloke wearing a rodent costume on a low pro spinning a tiny gear up Kingsland rd this evening. Made me smile although nobody else seemed to notice... ( the rodent costume , not me smiling..)

Bontrager race lite rear 700c
20 bladed spokes with 10spd shimano compatible freehub
Hub and braking surface in used but sound condition.
The rim however is showing stress cracks around the nipples(pick your own innuendo)
Still runs true and is usable ( i used it like this for a while)although I'd not advise it if you're a big lad/lass
The rims are available but expensive hence why I didn't rebuild it. If you're more talented than me with a wheel jig you may find a cheaper alternative.
£30 or a bottle of decent whiskey gets it -
^ Whilst initially investigating this I came across claims from several of people being nicked for "wanton and furious cycling". I have been threatened with this once by the police after being knocked off my bike by angrycunt the motorist, luckily I had a good witness and angrycunt was the one to get nicked.
Whilst we are on the subject and some seem to be posting what speed they can achieve, I have hit 39.6mph descending North Hill in Danbury on an 81" fixed. Not something I will repeat in a hurry.Scary.I was charged with cycling furiously and resisting arrest a long time ago. I always though it was specific to Scottish law, apparently not.

Yes, nitto used to do them, not sure if they still do. Or chop your drops! Always offends people but it works! BTW, I'm only wary of anything that's built with lightweight foremost. If you get 'freeride' risers or summat similar you'll be fine, motocross bars are alloy(renthal do nice ones) and they do various clamp sizes. Charge stuff Im not familiar with. Watch for discoloration or creases near the clamp. If you're big enough and strong enough then you'll break anything, anyone tells you different is trying to sell you something. Can't recommend the nittos highly enough though

hi all,
i ordered some b125's as i liked the idea of having steel bars (i'm a heavy bloke and ride fixed in the hills of rossendale, so lots of pulling hard).
i put them on and didn't like them at all, took them off immediately (after a 15 mile ride). i thought i'd ask just before i send them back, has anybody used them on the road and got used to them or are they just for the track?
I used to use profile bull horn things in/around glasgow(fairly hilly) Snapped them in a year. Switched to mavics ( they were all the rage at the time). They also snapped. Went through another two sets before getting steel nittos. Took a while to get used to them but they've never let me down. Never seen a pair snap(they can bend) . If you're a big lad pushing a big gear up a big hill then use steel, or be prepared to replace your bars every season. It took four breakages( my face, not bars) until I figured that one out
