yer i knoo it's easy to see when it's off but truvativ have (had?) a lot of eggs in the ISIS, oversized ISIS and other alternative bb/crank systems.

the cages aren't totally necessary so when you find out what bearing size you need, chocks away, if you can put it together without their help tho i suspect that may be difficult. they might be 1/4" bearings like a lot of loose ball bearing bb's but i have no idea.

What I don't understand is why do they make it with such enormous clearances. surely its just as easy to make it with slightly tighter clearances no??? Just a matter of changing a few angles and tube lengths

i used some for a while, really rate them, will be getting more when my current hubs die but i really doubt that will ever happen, quite easily (nd cheap) to change sealed bearings when they go once you'e done it a couple times.

doesn't really matter, anything from 17-21mm wide would be fine.
