A mutual friend of Canaidan and mine has just had her wheels and seatpost stolen in the middle of exam season... very sad. See the appeal for wheels here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread67969.html
Shinigami has kindly offered to lend, but maybe you would consider donating wheels (if compatible)/bike so Jules can ride once again? Post in Canaidan's wanted thread above if you would :)

This is a good deal of fun, didn't quite get the video quality of the first two vids on this thread, but pretty passable for such a small camera... Singspeed - it appears there are two models of camera in your batch! Mine prints the timestamp on a black background [for anyone who's wondering, there are 10 versions of this camera, and the way to tell them apart is by the timestamp format].
In terms of the stability, tried it on my head today, was ok, but makes you realise just how much looking around you do on a ride ;) Will try it on bars and head tube tomorrow.
People, if you want to take the shakes out of your videos, use VirtualDub http://www.virtualdub.org/ with the plugin http://www.guthspot.se/video/deshaker.htm. Instructions are all on the websites, if you also use Windows Movie Maker you'll need plugins for the wmv format too, or convert back to avi first. Deshaker is pretty easy to use, don't be put off by all the options, you get decent results just by using the preset ones. It gets confused by violent movements, making the edge of the screen blurry, but the centre of the image becomes nice and stable to watch. Been using it for years to remedy my shaky camera hand whilst riding single handed on a bumpy towpath and trying not to drop into the river!
Hope someone finds this helpful in some way!

Just been told some people can't see the full frame picture, here is a solid link in the hope that it works! http://static.lfgss.com/attachments/41477d1309019834-p250611_17.13.jpg

Not quite as big as 64cm, and looking for swaps rather than sells atm, but I have this beat-up frame to go, way too big for me! Everytime a car came out of a junction fast I feared for the existence of my future family...

Hi people,
I have this frame + fork combo which is dying to be converted into a beater bike, but it's too big for me by quite a margin! So, 61cm for 53-56 pls? :)
Peugeot Carbolite 103 61cm seat tube, 58cm top tube
nice long nearly-horizontal dropouts, suitable for fixed
surface rust spots that can easily be restored or left for that 'rust-ic' look ;)
for 700C wheels
braze ons for gear shifters
fancy brand sticker still there
says premier on top tube so it must be good!unknown BB, wobbly but probably restorable, so will chuck that in free
unknown headset, outside FUBAR by rust but still goes round and doesn't wobble so must be ok internally, so will also chuck that in free too!there are some wheels attached which are pretty rusty too, but if you like wheelbuilding you can have them for the hubs which seem to be alright to sweeten any potential swappy deal. Crankset, shifters, brakes not included (unless you can persuade me!)
I am looking for:
Frame and forks in structurally good condition, not ridiculous amounts of surface rust, 53-56cm, suitable for fixed conversion, taking 700C wheels. Something that I can take places I would rather not take my road bike! Maybe including BB and headset, whatever you got! -
