shitballs, I posted on the microcosm.app lfgss but forgot to add it here.
Myself, MissMouse, Branwen, O'shane & Scoot are all celebrating our (early june)birthdays that day starting at the nocturne in the daytime and then heading to a pub nearby after (tbd)
there should be a large forum contingent there and everyone is welcome to come join our gathering and get very drunk indeed.
This. Also to eat cake and do skids.**Not as a result of the cake.

What did you guys do the first few times you let your cats out? I'm shit scared that Basil will get too excited exploring and not find his way back.
It is a bit nerve-racking - like packing your child off to school for the first time.I doubt Basil will go all that far to begin with though - well, not so far he can't hear you call for him. Presumably you are letting him out the back as opposed to in the street/where cars are?
My suggestions:
Do it during daylight hours initially.
Do it when you're not going out anywhere - I found a time when I could actually be outside with them for a while (was freezing though as that was December) and gradually increased the length of time I let them stay out for.
Have a packet of Dreamies ready and reward/praise him when he comes back.
Don't fret - mine got me panicking a couple of times when they were slow to come back but they always did eventually.Mine are a year old now and still get so excited every morning about going outside for their garden adventures. It's probably a good thing I don't know what they get up to.

The Bontrager WSD bars have a very short reach - 7cm and On Your Bike gave Alex an 8cm stem.
There do not seem to be any WSD bars available in the UK any longer.
The ergonova pro being a compact bar has a 7.7cm reach, and we have teamed that with a 7cm stem. As such the Wilier has a cockpit with 15cm of reach, and the steamroller 14.7cm of reach.
It does amaze me that a small bike still comes with cockpit components that would fit a much larger rider.
So who's actually building this bike up then? Is it me, or is it you, darling?
