1960s road/path bike believed to be a Claud Butler. Reynolds 531 tubing. Very light and agile to ride. Pretty Nervex lugs (Nervex stamped on BB shell), tasteful fork crown and elegant forks and rear stays really make this a nice bike to behold. Semi wrap over seat stays. Drilled front and rear in typical road/path fashion with braze ons for guards.
Taken back to bare metal. BB removed, cleaned and re greased. Headset stripped and re greased.
Fitted with original Compe (Diacompe) forged stem and Ital bars. Freshly wrapped.
Milremo cranks with new cotter pins fitted. 50 T (running 74.8)
Rare Campagnolo Nuovo Record seat post (27.2).
Brooks B17 leather riveted saddle.
No name 700c rear track wheel in black, flip flop hub with 18 T nos 1/8 sprocket and new lockring.
New 1/8 track chain (DID? cant remember now...)
Campagnolo Record on Mavic GP4 on the front - 700c. Wolber Tubular. Beautiful wheel. Not matching the rear as the front 'disappeared' on a brief ride. :(
I have the original Weinman Type 500 calipers and levers plus the original Chater Lee pedals if wanted too. PLUS prob a finger brake for the drops...
Size wise we are taking 57 c-c / 58 c-t seat tube. 57.5 c-c top tube. To suit around 5"9 to 6"0. Test ride is welcome.
Im London based. East.

Hey - glad you like it.
Not keen on splitting to be honest.
....If a potential buyer doesn't take the pedals stedlocks Ill get in touch - they will need a bit of wire brush action on them!
