Okay. Whats the cycle scene like in Indonesia there seem to be more and more guys on here asking for bikes.
i feel like a Indonesian bike ambassador :)
but the cycle scene in Jakarta is growing since the traffic is very bad. some people leave their car or motorcycle and go to work with their bike. so, yes, is growing. but not like you guys in europe where cycling already become a culture.
in Jakarta, young people and teen ride fixed gear. the older guys use mtb. but i'm only thirty y.o and want to look cool :) that's why i choose road bikes. :)
so... anyone can help me?

Why would you shop so far from home? Surely you can get something nice from somewhere nearer like Oz maybe?
first, it is very hard to find a European road bike here. people usually bought a 27inch taiwan made bike and convert it to 700c bike. and if there's one, the price is ridiculously expensive because it's rarity.
i already check Oz. They didn't have so many range of road bike like you guys here in europe.

Greetings from Indonesia,
currently, I am building a beautiful Vitus 979 and i need some parts to finish it off. What i need is a front and rear derailleurs with shifters and brake sets.
My budget is around 70 euro-ish including the post cost to Jakarta, Indonesia. The group set what i have in my mind is either a shimano 105 or 600. If you have something above that, maybe i will consider to pay more if i like it.
Just send PM me if you want to sell one.
Thank you so much,
Hendra
