I bought a bew fuji track classic a couple of months ago and since then I've been trying and failing to get some of the stickers off of the frame, like the one that shows the size and the 'made in taiwan' ones. Some of them came off ok, but some of them won't and look gash. Any tips?

This confused me so much... It took me far too long to work out what was going on.

I bought a 2011 classic in blue a couple of months ago, it's more or less standard at the moment because I spent all my money on the bike.... I've chopped the bars to bull horns though (instantly regretted it) when I have the money I want to replace the stem and the saddle (and replace the drop bars I hacked up) also I can see myself getting it repainted in a few months because although I like the look of the blue paint it has at the moment it just comes off too easily.

That looks really nice! Fair bit more expensive than the charge spoon though.

Cinelli Pista Stem, does anyone know if it's any good? it's less than £25 so it's pretty cheap, not too bothered about the weight either.

Thanks for the advice clockwork kills (if that is your real name....) it's such a pain finding everything else non leather, like belts and shoes and stuff, I thought it'd be the same for this.

Yeah, I agree, if I saw a leather saddle in a bin I'd use it rather than letting
it go to waste. Need to keep my eyes peeled! Ha ha

i know i was dicking about,

just go to your LBS they will have loads of non leather and imitation leather saddles

oh.....i see....... yeah, i might pop down to the one near me, I live in Bournemouth though so i don't have as much choice as the fancy pants London types.

Can anyone reccomend a decent saddle that's not too expensive and isn't made of leather? I try to steer clear of leather because I'm a dirty veggie.

If you buy a cheap track hub, id rebuild the wheel for you. Would be infinitely better imo.

Thanks for the offer but I'd like to try and keep the original hub if I can, the rest of the bike is completely original apart from the tyres as far as I can tell.

I'm currently trying to convert an 80s Bianchi I got my girlfriend for her birthday into a fixed gear, it seems to be going pretty well so far considering that I have absolutely no
knowledge of how to do it. I'd managed to get the rear cassette, derallieurs etc off and I've bought a track sprocket. I was talking to a guy I know about it and he said that I wouldn't be able to
Make it fixed without a track hub, I have no idea of that's true or not, if I put the track sprocket onto the original hub will it be fixed or just a single speed? I could always found out for myself but I thought that asking strangers on the Internet would be easier.

I bought this for my girlfriend's birthday, going to convert it to fixed and a few other bits and bobs as well. it seems like a shame to not leave it original (it's completely original apart from the tyres as far as I know) but if we keep all the bits we can always change it back.
