Has anyone got a shower head with a filter built in? My partner hates washing her hair at home in London and reckons it's because the water is so hard.
Do they work? Are they worth it? If so, what do we go for? We're renting and not sure how long we'll be in our current place so can't do anything more involved than changing the head.

Good idea! Here's a rough stab at mine.
Zone Of Interest - best film I've seen in years, I never want to watch it again.
Poor Things - enjoyable and weird. Probably not one to watch with the family over Christmas.
The Holdovers - fun and melancholic in equal measure. Definitely counts as a Christmas film.
The Substance - good, fun body horrorCivil War - a bit on the nose and not Alex Garland's best but still very worth a watch.
I saw The TV Glow - nominally a horror but more melancholic and creepy than outright scary.
Longlegs - Nic Cage in a film that's trying very hard to be Silence Of The Lambs. I enjoyed it but my partner hated it because she's terrified of dolls.

What's everyone's favourite films of 2024? I've got a couple of days with no plans between now and new year and want to catch up on good stuff I've not seen.
Whilst I'm here, Gladiator 2 is shit. Some decent performances but absolutely nothing going on with way too many on the nose nods to the original. Quite disappointing!

Pageninetynine are a great place to start on screamo! Particularly if you're coming from a hardcore/metal background.
Cassus are great, I've been playing gigs with them for years. First time we played together was in an 18+ venue when they were all still young un's. They had to hang out outside before and after their set which was quite odd!

I'm reading a collection of James Cain books at the moment. I enjoyed The Postman Knocks Twice quite a bit. My first experience of that pulp-y early 20th century crime stuff.
I'm currently on Mildred Pierce which I'm not as in to. I'd rather read Richard Yates, John Updike etc for melancholic, slice of life stuff.
Double Indemnity up next.
Thanks! I reckon we'll give it a punt.
