Started the year with these, because they’re on offer at £1.75 and at 44p per mincer work out cheaper than the usual Finest/Best/TTD/Signature/Collection/Whatever. Did one cold and the other warm.
Attracted by the darker bake on the pastry initially. The pastry is indeed very short and has an almost crunchy texture in places. However, distinct lack of buttery taste and I’d almost go as far as saying it’s very bland tasting as it’s not sweet either. The filling is good. Very fruity and bright and plenty of it. Completely let down by the pastry though. What is this ‘all butter’ ingredient the supermarkets use that doesn’t taste like butter?

Honestly the thing i'm dreading most is going through the stuff in the attic, it's chocca with stuff and getting in and out through the hatch on at tiny landing at the top the stairs makes it harder.
Stating the obvious here, but get a mate to help with this bit. Taller the better. If one of you can pass things through the hatch while the other handles them down, it takes no time at all. Take things like the handles off the loft ladder which get in the way.

WD is a poor release agent.
According to the internet.
I’ve been trying WD40 side-by-side with Plus Gas for well over a decade now and I can honestly say I can’t tell the difference between them. What I will say, is Plus Gas fucking stinks. If you don’t mind reeking of diesel for hours/days afterwards, then get stuck in with the Plus Gas. If it looks like it’s going to be an easy job, then WD40 all the way.

Tesco House Blend at £3/227g makes a perfectly acceptable filter coffee. I didn't see that coming.
M&S Kenyan Micro Lot Coffee Beans at £5.50/227g make a very good medium/light espresso and acts like a far superior bean in the machine. Grinds more like a freshly roasted bean than one which has been sat in a bag for months. I didn't see that coming either.

Change password if you haven’t already. Just in case your details were farmed from Experian.
More likely your details have been farmed from an easier source, probably an online shop or an old app you used with weak security. Google Password Manager in Chrome and iOS both give you breach notifications in settings. May be worth checking those in case there’s a clue there. Also check your email addresses on haveibeenpwned in case there’s been a recent breach.

Ok, they aren’t KT88s. They’re 6AS7s which are low impedance twin triode power output valves, so two chunky output triodes in each valve. The KT88 is different. KT88 is a very big single beam tetrode (very similar to a pentode). All 8 of your 6AS7s are probably in parallel, so all 16 output triodes are in parallel and that’s probably why there isn’t a giant output transformer on your amplifier like there normally would be.
It’s an interesting valve. 100-200W from a valve amp would normally use 4x KT88s in class AB push-pull, but it would also need an HT voltage near 700V. Yours is just loads of output triodes stacked in parallel and only needs around 250V so it looks like it might not even have a power transformer and just runs directly on rectified mains voltage. I’d love to have a look inside that thing 👍

Blimey! I said KT66s because they’re normally that tapered shape and KT88s are normally more of a Coke can shape (and size). I’d definitely be up for a forum listening party (and put me down for coffee tasting) if you’d be up for hosting one.
Your 9V batteries are probably for a non transformer-based biasing. It’s an old way of doing it but I’m guessing low noise and probably means you don’t need to use diodes or LEDs to get a simpler but more stable bias voltage.
