Given that this is painted, chromed and specced near identically to a custom Bob I've been promising myself I emailed Pelizzoli and asked about pricing. €800 and €60 shipping to the UK. Seems almost reasonable.

These are clearly mega (and a good deal) but I guess their appeal is limited to people doing endurance events on the track. Having said that they would make an awesome posing wheelset for anyone willing to brave tubs.

To the uninformed observer I agree that this is a bleak day and further sullies pro cycling but I'm impressed by the ongoing commitment to bringing drugs cheats to justice. To my mind the fact that more cyclists seem to get caught than other sportsmen is a good thing; it doesn't mean that there is more widespread use of PEDs in cycling than in any other sport.

I sold one of these a while ago, they are of outstanding quality and £40 is a good price. The narrow rails on the saddle look pretty sweet too, if only becaus of how unusual they are.

If it's a little bigger and similarly delightful condition I'll be interested.

Just out of interest (this is far too small for me) does this differ from a standard Track Champ in any ways aside from the geometry?

This is an awesome buy for someone, these frames are really eye catching.

If you're going to be doing any walking at all get the mtb pedals. Some poseurs will sniff at anything not designed for the road on a road bike but I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok, that Rose trumps the Dolan Ares I posted above by dint of having better wheels and a more expensive saddle for only £90 more. I don't know anything about the relative merits of the two framesets, anyone ridden either?
