Nice, Merckx look alike Rourke, pick up from exeter though
title says 58cm actual 60cm
I bought this. I always love slightly dodgy/mysterious auctions. The forks are 653 but the seller doesn't know about the frame, as the decal has come off. I guess when I receive the frame I can weigh it and have a better idea. Anyone have any bright ideas on identifying the tubing?

Yes it looks similar to the cassette tool, but it's bigger. It's a cylinder about 1inch across with 20 splines.
This is it:

I'm up for it if I have a functioning bike!
I'm after a Shimano Isis BB tool, as I have lost mine! Like this: Shimano Isis BB tool

Shims, no. They will make the hub ends thicker not longer. You need some sort of hub elongator cylinders. I have not seen any of these, ever. But I may be surprised.
If you desperately wanted to fit these hubs and you have a steel frame, you can simply bend each stay 5mm inwards, but you might have issues with drop-out alignment.
Ok no worries, I guess it must carry a bit of a premium over the UN54.
Good luck with the clearout.
