531 was simply rebranded as 531c. It's the same tubez.

Not sure if you'll fancy this but I've got a very fancy Merida full carbon fork, it weighs only 295g, but the steerer is only 250mm. Yours for £85. You can get cheaper, heavier, new forks on eBay for about £50.

How tall are you, and is it a good fit? Tommaso website says 61cm is for 6ft 2in and taller.

I think 1994 was the last year of C-Record. But I might be wrong.

Record/Chorus would indeed work. If you've comfortable going one step down, I've got a 1995/1996 (not sure) Athena groupset in very good, shiny condition, with 8 speed ergo levers. I can offer you a full groupset including HS and BB, even Cinelli Criterium bars if you like. Only thing I don't have is wheels/pedals.

So how about £210 for ergos, both dérailleurs, chainset (53/39), monoplanar brakes (very nice indeed). I have both braze-on or clamp-on front mech, you may choose either.

Optional extras:
+15 for BB (modern sealed Veloce, only a few hundred miles on it)
+20 for HS
+20 for Cinelli Crits

I also have a Campy aero seat post if needed.

So far I only have pics of brakes, chainset and front dérailleur. It looks the same as Tel's groupset, but with a few scratches to the chainset and the odd blemish here and there.

I've been interested in building a similar set using IRD Aero rims. Do they feel much faster than Open Pro style low-profile, non-aero rims? Can you tell the difference when charging along on the flat?

So if I go to this sale looking for bib shorts, early Friday morning, will I simply come away teary eyed and empty handed? And potentially with bruised ribs?
