Any chance of a pic of the rear spacing? Just what I'm looking for but also a bit wary as to whether they'll fit chainline wise...all depends on where the cog is/how big that spacing is, might work though...

Wondering if anybody's got a 700c silver flip flop wheelset (matching front and rear) for a vintage build - 130mm or 126mm (no smaller) rear. Ideally no deep rimmed stuff, clinchers and the more shiny the better. Looking for budget-ish...

Yeah, hold out for something less modern; saves me going home and digging them out of the shed. Plus you won't get angry with me when you're massivly dissapointed... they do look a bit crap...especially in black.

36 spokes, rear wheel wide dished hub for 5/6/7 speed freewheel.

I've got a pair of Aksiums in black from 2008 with shimano fittings. They're currently sitting in wheelbags locked up in my folks shed as I have no use for them but could go dig them out if interested?

I seem to remember they need truing... I crashed them in my last race.

Yes yes yes, and then it becomes second nature.

I remember my first fall; I was behind a landrover, it stopped on a hill whilst pulling up to a junction, I (about to fall over) grabbed onto it's spare wheel on the back door of the car to keep myself from going down and then it pulled away. Needless to say I ended up binning it.
