Still looking for 1 1/8" Carbon forks with at least 280mm steerer and a single speed wheelset in decent condition.
I'm also looking for a matching brake set but not in so much of a hurry for that as i have some old ones that will do in the meantime.
I found an old stripped On One Alu frame that had bent rear stays but the frame parts i needed were still in good condition. So i cut the frame off the bike stand with a hacksaw and it's now finding a new lease of life in my current project. I did get some funny looks though.
Let me know if you have any of the above
Thanks

I've noticed an old alu frame that has been stripped of EVERYTHING and has been locked up near my house for well over a year. Would do the job of the frame i'm after. I know i'd be doing the community a service if i cut it off and used the frame but i'm not sure passers by/ the old bill would have the same opinion. Do you think i'd get away with it?

WANTED:
Old frame, cheap as chips, I need around a 190mm head tube length, will take a dented/ write off frame as long as the head tube and BB are not damaged. I only want it for the head tube, BB shell and downtube as i'm cutting it up for a new project.
Carbon forks
Matching wheelset, flip flop rear hub
Let me know if you've got any of the above and how much you want for them.
Cheers

Spot on. It was a hand drill and my shakey hands that buggered it. I wouldn't have messed it up with a pillar drill but the girlfriend won't let me install one in the sitting room of our 1 bed flat. No circular saw on the kitchen table either : (
The part of the clamp bonded to the seatpost is fine, as is the ridged part that fits into it. It is just the top clamp and bolt that need replacing. Do you think i'll find a similar clamp on another seatpost?

The seatpost bolt on my Isaac carbon seatpost has broken off inside the top clamp. I thought the easiest fix was to drill out the bolt and get a new bolt, but used an old shoddy drill bit and managed to break the drill bit off inside the top clamp! So i'm now after a new bolt and top clamp. I've tried 5 bike shops so far and they all say they can't replace the clamp, they can only sell a new seatpost. Seems like a total waste to get a new seatpost when all i need is the clamp. The clamp looks almost identical to the clamo on my Condor seatpost so that is my next point of call. Does anyone have any other bright ideas if that fails?

I'm fuming at the moment having found that a dent has appeared in one of the seat stays on my Condor Pista. I only keep it in the bike shed at work or in my sitting room at home so it must have been some £%!"$%&* at work who has givien it a really hard knock. Looks like it must have had a pretty hard hit to do the damage.
I took it to Condor and they said there's nothing they can do. Ride on till it dies, and avoid pot holes! They did however offer me a discount on a new frame and said they could dig out one of last years frames at an even cheaper price. Which i thought was generous seeing as they didn't have to offer that. Is there anything else i can do? Don't really want to fork out for a new frame. Will any London frame builders be able to do anything with it? I live near Kiwi Cycles in Hackney does anyone have any experience of them and can they do repairs like this? Will post some photos when i get the chance.
I'm guessing that means the cranks have gone. Dibs if not.
